Google Doodle contest
Submitted by Greg on February 13, 2008 - 12:18pm.I found the following message in my inbox this morning. I thought several of you out there might be interested.
Every few months, we reach out to tell you about how your fellow educators are using our products in their classrooms. Well, this time around, we'd like to change things up and ask you and your students to take over and send us your ideas instead. Here's what we mean:
Picture this: You're standing in front of your class, but instead of keeping their eyes on the blackboard, the kids are all sitting there doodling.

Advancing Oregon Mathematics
Submitted by Steve Nelson on August 14, 2007 - 2:51pm.Tabula Digita, creator of the New York City Department of Education Summer 2007 Multiplayer Educational Game (MEG) Tournament, is introducing a special project concept to Oregon Education involving the application of 3D, immersive educational videogames in what would be the first statewide mathematics competition (on Pre-Algebra and Algebra) of its type.

The intent of this site is to provide information about the project to stakeholders and provide you with a mechanism to contribute, thereby hopefully increasing the buy-in and feelings of ownership as well as producing a better end product. It's certainly more than a "project blog". We hope it will be something that will encourage the growth of a community of interest that can provide us with valuable feedback from the community as well as a way for us to keep the community up-to-date.
