I had not looked much at InSite. Mostly because they don't let you see anything without dealing with a salesperson, but also because the literature implies that it's more a professional development and learning platform for adult learners rather than the under-18 demographic. What attracted your attention to the product?

Does it have some feature set that makes it worthwhile to spend the additional money on licensing proprietary software?

It really is built more for adult learners so wasn't the best suggestion for the question. I had my apples and oranges mixed up there.
